Darkness breaks in uninvited
Unexpected as a dust devil
Sky, gone.
Clouds an inky black,
Yet another day rolled over.
As sun vacates her place,
Like the fading glam of youth,
A faint wick.
Small- the glow of moon,
A new ruler now enthroned.
Tomorrow being conceived,
Lays in the womb of sky,
Little kicks.
Restless clouds depart,
Rumbling clouds in distress labor.
When her water breaks,
So does Daybreak’s glow,
Brilliant rays.
Morning joy is here.
Another sun begotten.
